One of the best ways to grow as a Pipe Band is to support community projects, and working as a team in areas other than piping and drumming. Through volunteering, fundraising for charities, and supporting each other, the members of the Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band give back to the community at large. In 2009, the band’s community highlight was performing as the official pipe band for the 2009 World Junior Curling Championships and 2009 World Wheelchair Curling Championships in Vancouver, B.C.
