In September 2009 Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band won the bid to be the pipe band for the Olympics. The band played a total of 57 times at the Olympics, with a five-player mini-band marching each team onto the ice inside the Vancouver Olympic Center prior to each match. Their performances included the Gold Medal game and medal ceremony for both women and men.  People from around the world were able to see the Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band live on TV each day for almost a month!  What a great way to represent Pipe Bands, Curling, and Canada!
