The first full concert for the Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band as a Grade One band was held on January 19, 2008, the day before the anniversary of the band’s 2007 debut. It has been quite a memorable year! The band is pleased that the anniversary concert was in held Mount Vernon at the Celtic Arts Foundation Robbie Burns’ Dinner. Performances by the Triumph Street Pipe Band, the Clan Heather Dancers, and various band soloists and duets made for a wonderful Celtic evening.  Thanks to the Celtic Arts Foundation and Skye Richendrfer for their continuing support.

The second concert of 2008 was the St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser dinner concert at the Lucky Spike Pub in Port Moody, on March 16th.  Despite the driving rain outside, the pub was filled to capacity.  The band unveiled the new competition medley to the cheers of the crowd! Amazing performances by the Dowco Triumph Street Pipe Band and special guests made for a night to remember.
